Championship History

Rapid Fire Wrestling currently has four active championship titles. The current title holders are listed below as well as the history of title changes for each championship.

RFW World Championship

This is the top championship title in the women’s division and was first awarded November 1, 2019 as the MoW Championship. The RFW World Championship has the distinction of being the first ever women’s championship in MoW when the promotion ran under that name.

RFW Grand Championship

This is the top championship title in the men’s division and was first awarded October 21, 2019 as the MoW Championship. The RFW Grand Championship does not share lineage with the MoW Championship that was active from 1993-1997 or the RFW Titan Championship.

RFW Wildheart Championship

This is a secondary championship title that is competed for in the women’s division. It was first awarded May 27, 2023 as the MoW Wildheart Championship. The RFW Wildheart Championship is named in tribute to Wildheart Wrestling Club, an influential women’s wrestling promotion that ran from 2018-2021. The RFW Wildheart Championship does not share lineage with WWC’s Championship.

MoW Championship (1993-1997)

The MoW Championship was the top championship title in Masters of Wrestling from its inception in 1993 until it was closed in 1997.

RFW Titan Championship (2015-2018)

The Titan Championship was the top championship title of the men’s division of the classic Rapid Fire Wrestling (2015-2018) promotion. The championship was originally named RFW Championship when the promotion featured intergender competition. Men and women were split into their own divisions and the championship was renamed to RFW Titan Championship.

Location: RFW Arena in Atlanta, GA We’re back at it, Rapid Fire Fanatics! Plenty of action, intrigue, and even a returning superstar. It’s still early in our fall season and we already shifted into high gear. Here is everything you need to know about this week in RFW. Welcome to Rapid Fire Wrestling! Rus Samson vs. Hector Diaz We started the show off with two guys who didn’t have a great time at the Rapid Fire Festival. Hector Diaz came looking to get back in the win books and Rus Samson is apparently out on his own and no longer with Lost Cause?  Diaz looked good here early on but Samson overpowered him and dominated throughout the match. This was a good, energetic, and competitive match that saw both teams showing off some of their best talents and was a fine example of what tag team wrestling means in RFW.
