About
Rapid Fire Wrestling is a creative writing project about a fictional wrestling promotion. Originally named Masters of Wrestling, MoW started out in my childhood as action figures repurposed to be professional wrestlers. I would tell stories with GI Joe, Masters of the Universe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and other random action figures. As I matured out of playing with toys, I continued telling wrestling stories through creative writing.
While I have written in the same fictional universe over the decades, MoW went dormant in 1997. RFW began as a spiritual successor to MoW in 2015 and ran until 2018. I decided to bring MoW back for a proper sendoff in 2019. The project was only intended to run for a few months but became a passion project with regular updates ever since. As of 2024, MoW and RFW projects were merged into one, the MoW name was formally retired, and RFW is the name going forward.
Unfortunately, records of the original 1993-1997 MoW are lost to time but some of the key characters still exist in the current product to help bridge the gap between eras. There is an admittedly retconned MoW Championship history on our Championships page. Everything from 2015 onward is documented on this website.
RFW shares a fictional wrestling universe with other creators that are referenced in my writing. We call this the Open Wrestling Alliance and features Hazardous Awesome Wrestling, the currently dormant New Revolution Wrestling League, and many other promotions.
Thank you for stopping by to read Rapid Fire Wrestling. It is the keystone to a lifelong storytelling project and while it isn’t the real thing, it is a glimpse of the kind of wrestling show I would want to watch myself. The stories and the characters are about as real to me as they could possibly be. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing.
