Tracy Blood vs. Dezzy Nightshade
Our show kicked off with an opening match between Tracy Blood and Dezzy Nightshade who have been involved in the ongoing buildup to our RFW Grand Championship match later tonight. Both women looked eager to fight before the bell rang and locked up to get this show rolling.
Nightshade’s strength advantage showed promise but Blood was quick to interrupt her with a series of kicks that hit from knee to chest. Blood went for a body shot but Nightshade hooked her ankle and dropped her to the mat. This is where Nightshade truly came alive, brutalizing Blood with a series of powerful slams and some submissions that ground down on Blood’s cardio and breathing.
Blood avoided power bomb and pulled off a hurricanrana to everyone’s surprise. Blood began a big comeback but the action spilled to the outside when Nightshade booted Blood through the ropes to the floor. Nightshade stalked Blood outside and the two brawled until Blood dodged a clothesline and used a drop toe hold on Nightshade that sent her face first into the steel steps! The crimson mask began and Nightshade tried to wipe her eyes clear.
Blood rolled Nightshade back in the ring and focused her offense on Nightshade’s head. Nightshade managed to grab Blood and used a chokeslam power bomb but was too slow to cover. Blood kicked out and this match continued. Blood got back in control and in a moment of desperation, Nightshade spit out her ever-dangerous purple mist but she was disoriented and spit into the open air. Blood nailed her with a head kick which sent her back into the turnbuckle. Blood hit Nightshade with a second head kick which caused her to stumble forward. A third head kick brought Nightshade to her knees and a fourth one did her in. Blood covered for a pin and won this bloody opening encounter.
Tracy Blood celebrated her victory in the ring while medical staff helped Dezzy Nightshade to the back. Blood grabbed the attention of a camera man and sent a message to her brother.
“You’ve got this, big brother! I think I just evened the odds.” -Tracy Blood
Yeah, fair to say she did. We’ll have the results of the RFW Grand Championship match between Mark Blood and The Iconoclast later in this show.
Keira Ryan vs. Yurei
It’s been a good first year in RFW for Keira Ryan. I think her time in RFW has put her on a lot of fans’ radar. Ryan’s first Final Round appearance was against one of the most vicious fighters in RFW, Yurei.
These two are no strangers to each other so the match began with a brief exchange of takedowns before Ryan took off with a chain of offense that focused on Yurei’s back and shoulders. Yurei was able to reverse a hold and slip Ryan into a sleeper hold, wrapping her legs around Ryan on the mat to secure it tight. Ryan was able to inch her foot to the rope causing the referee to break the hold but the match shifted in Yurei’s favor.
Yurei softened up Ryan before using some hard-impacting slams and painful looking submissions. Ryan got back to her feet and had a late match comeback but a spear from Yurei setup Ryan for an anaconda choke. Ryan struggled to escape but was forced to submit.
Yurei was declared the winner in this match but I think Keira Ryan has left her mark on RFW and clearly one to watch continue to grow.
Cool Spencer w/Paisley Alden vs. Rus Samson w/Ridge
The implosion of Lost Cause was tragic but perhaps inevitable. Cool Spencer and Paisley Alden ditched Rus Samson with the ring veteran Ridge getting caught up in the mix. Spencer and Samson met in singles competition to settle this.
Alden accompanied Spencer to the ring and shared a long, deep kiss with him before she stepped down to the floor, munching on a jumbo sized cookie. Ridge joined Samson in the ring, shared some words of encouragement to him before the duo fist bumped and Samson set his focus on Spencer.
This match favored Samson early on with the big man throwing his former friend all over the ring. Alden squirmed and screeched almost comically as her boyfriend got slammed in all corners of the ring. Samson went for a gorilla press but Spencer slipped free and practically dove out of the ring, standing behind Alden for cover. Alden defiantly pointed a finger at Samson and warned him to leave Spencer alone which Samson appropriately responded “It’s a wrestling match!”
Spencer returned to the ring and was able to use some quick thinking to avoid more punishment and started attacking Samson’s legs to limit that strength advantage. Spencer looked sharp here and Alden became very vocal and, I must say, annoying as she cheered him on from ringside. Ridge had heard enough and confronted Alden who agreed to settle down but when he started walking away, Alden took off her shoes and threw them at his head. Spencer saw this and laughed at Ridge as he started showing off in the ring.
The taunting was perhaps a bit much because it wasn’t long before Samson used raw strength to break Spencer’s offense. Spencer’s offense did weaken the big man but not enough to truly stop him. A big spine buster, a gorilla press throw, and a pin was enough to keep Spencer down for the count and Samson got a measure of revenge against his former ally.
Rus Samson stood tall in the ring with Ridge congratulating him. Cool Spencer stumbled toward the aisle, looking back at Samson as he winced in pain. Alden pulled a smooshed brownie from her pocket and fed it to Spencer as a consolation prize as they left for the backstage area.
Rex Anarchy vs. Ruslan Panov
An alliance between Ruslan Panov and Rex Anarchy formed at last year’s Final Round and now, one year later, the two are colliding in a match against one another.
These two are no strangers to each other but despite the familiarity they started the match by feeling each other out with tie ups, holds, and takedowns. Panov started hitting with those experienced fists causing Anarchy duck out through the ropes. Anarchy went outside the ring for a breather but Panov followed and fell right into Anarchy’s trap. Anarchy was ready and got the jump on Panov. The brawl outside the ring was brutal and Panov’s body absorbed a lot of impacts agains the ring post, floor, and barricade.
Panov was softened up but refused to stay down, avoiding being pinned after he was thrown back into the ring. Anarchy smacked Panov around and added a little extra force to his body slams and suplexes. Panov fired back and slowly regained momentum for a strong comeback.
Anarchy made a late match comeback of his own but Panov blocked his attempt at a fisherman buster, kneed him in the gut, and ran off the ropes before hitting Anarchy with a vicious curb stomp. Panov covered with a pin and picked up the win.
Ruslan Panov emerged victorious from this fight and while celebrating he motioned a title belt around his waist which suggests that Panov’s goal of becoming RFW Grand Champion is still in his sights.
You Need To Win
The RFW Tag Team Championship Match was up next and before we got to the action we saw Shannon Worth approach her Four Elements partners, Marcus, Tommy V, and Killer Malone. Worth looked nervous, which is unusual for her, while the other three looked quite relaxed.
“That meddling Aurora Starkey thinks she can screw us over by banning Malone and I from ringside but I know you can do this on your own. Just... I need you to win. I need you to. The Navigators are on a run of a lifetime and the last person to do that, was me. If they win tonight, they’ll likely become the longest reigning title holders in RFW history and break my streak. I cannot let that happen. You cannot let that happen.” -Shannon Worth
Marcus assured Worth that she was overreacting and Tommy V was surprised that she didn’t have more faith in them. The duo walked out to the ring while Worth watched with a continued look of concern.
RFW Tag Team Championship Match
Marcus and Tommy V vs. The Navigators (c)
Marcus and Tommy V walked out carrying the RFW Tag Team Championship belts that they took hostage a few weeks back and were aiming on a win here to make it official. The Navigators came to this match with a fire lit under them to make things right and put the challengers in their place. As mentioned earlier, Shannon Worth and Killer Malone were banned from interfering which made this one a truly fair fight.
The Navigators looked really strong here in the early going with Tommy V taking a lot of pent up aggression from the champs! Marcus had to jump into the mix to stop The Navigators’ momentum. The referee sent Marcus back to his corner but it was enough to get Tommy V an opportunity to recover and tag out.
Marcus used a smooth chain of suplexes and takedowns into submissions to ground the high flying Aidan North. The Elements were tagging in and out and keeping the pressure on North, taunting Pete Arrow. A moment of desperation allowed North a brief moment where he took Marcus down and dove for the tag, bringing in Arrow hot and explosive.
The champions built a huge rally and had victory in their sights until a very unexpected interruption occurred. Cool Spencer and Paisley Alden casually walked down to ringside. Everyone was confused by their presence, especially when Spencer offered to play hacky sack with everyone. The referee started to get control of this interruption but while he was distracted by Alden offering him a bottle with some kind of dubious fluid inside, Spencer tossed the hacky sack to Tommy V. Tommy V looked confused but then felt it in his hand and realized what he was holding. Tommy whipped the hacky sack at Arrow’s head and it dropped Arrow to the mat instantly!
Marcus nailed North with a forearm and dragged him out of the ring while Tommy V pulled a clearly knocked out Arrow to his feet before using a piledriver for extra measure. Tommy V covered for the pin and we had, officially, new RFW Tag Team Champions.
Shannon Worth and Killer Malone joined Tommy V and Marcus to celebrate their win. Worth gave a nod to Cool Spencer and Paisley Alden which tells me that Worth sent them out here. That hacky sack was loaded and brought a strange end to one of the greatest championship runs in RFW history. The Navigators can’t be happy about this and I expect we’ll see them coming for The Four Elements in 2026!
No Holds Barred Match
Andre Jordan vs. Kenneth Cobb
A tense rivalry with real life consequences has led these two to a No Holds Barred encounter. Andre Jordan lost a sponsorship deal and Kenneth Cobb’s troubles with Jordan got him in hot water at home! Both men came looking release some frustration on one another and that was evident from the jump.
Cobb wasted on time slugging Jordan but Jordan snatched him up with an exploder suplex that sent Cobb out of the ring. Violence ensued on the floor with Jordan taking a surprisingly aggressive attack on Cobb with Cobb meeting steel steps before being tossed into the crowd.
Jordan used a chair to soften up Cobb’s body but when he tried for a piledriver on the floor Cobb reversed it into a back body drop sending Jordan crashing onto the discarded chair! The crowd was loving this and cheered on Cobb as he got to his feet and started dishing out his own flavor of aggression.
Jordan retreated toward the backstage area with Cobb closely behind. Jordan pushed a barrel into Cobb’s way but Cobb threw it at Jordan, sending him to the concrete. A tackle through double doors later and this match found its way into the RFW training facility! You know, I’ve got a steel cage match to cover later in this show but maybe these two needed to be in a cage to keep them in the ring!
Jordan whacked Cobb with a dumbbell which busted him open. Cobb responded by slamming Jordan on the floor and dropping a heavy bag on his chest. Repeatedly. Jordan fled to toward the lockers and Cobb shoved him inside one before kicking the locker door several times.
Cobb dragged Jordan back to the ringside area and powerslammed him on the floor before rolling him back into the ring. Bloodied and weary, Cobb slowly attacked Jordan, clearly a cathartic moment and one that was cut short when Jordan swung his arm upward and hit Cobb with a low blow. Cobb hit began to fall to his knees but was grabbed by Jordan. Jordan lifted Cobb and himself to their feet and launched Cobb with a belly to belly suplex. Jordan covered for the pin but Cobb managed to kick out which left Jordan shocked!
Jordan repeatedly stomped on Cobb, drove his knuckles into the wound on his head, and even used a piledriver to subdue him. Jordan covered for a pin but Cobb once again kicked out. Jordan, frustrated, stormed out of the ring, grabbed the ring bell, and brought it into the ring, ready to strike Cobb with it. Jordan took a swing but missed. Cobb ripped the bell from Jordan’s hand and blasted him in the jaw with it. Jordan stumbled, aimlessly reaching around the ring for something to lean on, but only found Cobb. Cobb cinched in a sleeper hold and pulled Jordan to the mat. Jordan tried to pull Cobb’s arm loose but failed before passing out.
Kenneth Cobb went through hell with Andre Jordan this fall but came out on top with this win. Cobb looked beat up but also relieved as he stood tall with his hand raised high.
Phueng Ahunai vs. Lucia Mendez
It’s been a momentous year for both Phueng Ahunai and Lucia Mendez. For Ahunai, her debut year in RFW has been memorable, full of high profile matches and feuds. The self-proclaimed “next generation” has made the most of 2025. Things have been different for Mendez. One year ago she celebrated with Andre Jordan as he captured the RFW Grand Championship. By spring, the couple had broken up and Mendez found herself intertwined in Jordan’s personal downward spiral. Ahunai was looking for her first Final Round to be a successful one while Mendez was looking to get her career on track, finally, on her terms.
Mendez had the early advantage starting with some takedowns out of a tie up and keeping Ahunai grounded. Mendez transitioned into some submissions but Ahunai quickly escaped. Ahunai turned things around and sped up this match with some quick takedowns of her own before hitting the ropes and hitting Mendez with some flying strikes and dropkicks.
Ahunai was really rolling here and had Mendez ready for a flipping neck breaker but Mendez blocked the move and turned it into a brain buster. Ahunai was dazed and this gave Mendez a chance to fire up the offense and build a huge comeback.
Ahunai took a whip into the turnbuckle and fell to her knees. Mendez pulled Ahunai into the center of the ring and went for a triangle hold to wrap this match up. She couldn’t get it quick locked in, however, which gave Ahunai the chance to break free. Mendez tried to follow up but Ahunai surprised her with a headbutt. Ahunai began a comeback of her own leading to a flipping neck breaker before pinning Mendez to pick up the win.
Hard fought, but earned, Phueng Ahunai looked tired but proud as her arm was raised as the winner. As for Lucia Mendez, she left the ring looking dejected as she held her neck and watched Ahunai’s celebration.
Steel Cage Match
Meghan DeWitt vs. Annika
The ring crew assembled a steel cage around the ring to get us ready for one of the more bitter rivalries of the night. Annika turned on Meghan DeWitt during the Rapid Fire Festival and broke her arm in the process. These two have a complicated past as DeWitt once used Annika to get ahead in RFW and though she thought things were smoothed over, Annika felt otherwise. The fights between these women were not staying in the ring so RFW Commissioner Aurora Starkey decided to put them into a steel cage.
The cage did its job of keeping the action in the ring but made this match no less brutal. Annika was focused on wearing down DeWitt with takedowns and used the cage to soften her up. DeWitt focused on targeted strikes to Annika and rubbed her face against the cage. DeWitt grabbed Annika and hip tossed her over the ropes causing her to collide against the cage wall and slide down.
DeWitt tried for a jump kick to Annika while she was still outside of the ropes but Annika ducked and DeWitt’s foot cracked against the ring allowing Annika to tackle her and try for an arm breaker. DeWitt escaped but Annika stayed on the attack and focused on DeWitt’s leg. This proved to be effective as it prevented DeWitt from moving quickly and allowed Annika to become slower and more methodical in her offense.
DeWitt was tossed through the ropes into the cage wall which caused a cut to open above her eyebrow. As blood dripped down DeWitt’s face, Annika grabbed her hair and tied it into the steel cage! DeWitt was woven into the cage! Annika began a brutal attack on the nearly helpless DeWitt and then locked in an arm breaker. DeWitt was in a tough spot here and in desperation bit Annika’s Achilles tendon causing her to release the hold!
DeWitt managed to free her hair from the cage and climb back into the ring where she began trading blows with Annika which caused Annika to begin bleeding. This match turned into a real bloodbath! With blood flying and fists connecting, this wrestling match turned gritty fight turned into a bare knuckle boxing match in the cage until DeWitt switched to a hard kick to Annika’s side. Annika fell to her knees and DeWitt ran off the ropes and tried for a flying knee. Annika ducked, ran off the ropes, and hit DeWitt with a flying knee of her own! Annika covered for a pin but DeWitt kicked out to keep this match going.
This fight continued to go back and forth until Annika whipped DeWitt off the ropes and missed a clothesline. DeWitt launched herself over the ropes, leapt onto the cage wall, and bounced off with a high flying knee to Annika. DeWitt quickly covered for a pin and picked up a three count, winning this absolutely brutal match!
Meghan DeWitt was declared the winner and looked pained as she had her arm raised. DeWitt looked at Annika, who was still on the mat trying to get up, and approached her. Annika looked up at DeWitt with a weary look and then looked confused when DeWitt held out her hand to help her up. Annika considered and then accepted the help. There was no make up hug here. No smiles. Just a respectful, knowing look that both of these women had something to tell one another in that cage and their messages were received.
Maria Estrella vs. Jessie Vega
We saw a lot of heated rivalries at Final Round but it’s hard to argue any of them compare to the shattered relationship of Maria Estrella and Jessie Vega. Friends since the dawn of RFW and lovers for the past few years, it all came to an end when Vega chose her music career over her relationship with Estrella. Estrella walked away from RFW, heartbroken, but returned to spoil Vega’s World Championship opportunity setting them on this collision here at Final Round.
Notably absent at ringside was Lee Lee Hunt, who walked out on Vega two weeks ago making this a truly even match up. Vega looked nervous before the bell and Estrella looked anxious, I might even say hungry.
Estrella absolutely dominated the early minutes of this match with Vega not he receiving end of months of frustration packaged as body slams, throws, forearm shots, and a clothesline that sent Vega to the floor outside the ring. Vega backed up the ramp and screamed that she wasn’t going to entertain the abuse but as she walked backward toward the arena entrance she bumped into someone unexpected. Lee Lee Hunt, her one time record label rep, looked at Vega wild eyed before grabbing her by the hair and dragging her back to the ring. I don’t know if this was Hunt’s redemption given all the problems she caused in RFW but it was certainly a measure of revenge against Vega!
Estrella continued to be in control here until Vega began crying out for Estrella to stop and tried to reason with her.
“Please! I made terrible, selfish mistakes! I’m not asking you to forgive me for what I did but, please, just stop this! Let me go.” -Jessie Vega
Estrella resisted this for a bit but it seemed that Vega’s pleading had her at least rethinking her uncontrolled anger. Estrella showed a moment of restraint which is what Vega was looking for. Vega found her opening and turned the match around in her favor. Vega’s offense wasn’t as colored by aggression as Estrella’s but it was cruel and effective in its own right. Vega’s tone changed as she built her offense against Estrella.
“You held me back! You were a love sick girl who couldn’t let me have my space! We had our time until I got tired of you and you should have just gone away!” -Jessie Vega
The words clearly hurt Estrella as much as the physical toll of this match but she stayed in the match despite Vega’s attempts to get her to submit or stay down for a pin.
Vega went up top for a frogsplash but Estrella got her knees up leaving Vega gasping for air on the mat. Estrella began to recover but Vega refused to give up her momentum. Vega tried to leapfrog over Estrella on a rebound off the ropes and she collapsed to the mat holding her ankle when her feet hit the mat. Vega had a history of ankle injuries in RFW’s earlier days and that came into play here. Or so we thought. Estrella showed genuine concern as Vega cried on the mat that her ankle was broken but when she got close, Vega rolled her up into a small package. Estrella kicked out of the pin attempt but Vega’s deception gave her the chance to get back into this with a big comeback.
Vega was looking strong here as this match was winding down and she locked Estrella into a double wrist lock. Estrella was unable to free herself or get to the ropes but used every bit of strength she had to stand with Vega still holding on and ram her into the turnbuckle to break the hold. Estrella fought back strong, used three running power slams in a row before pinning Vega and picking up this huge win!
Maria Estrella was declared the winner but instead of celebrating, she grabbed Jessie Vega by her top, dragged her out of the ring, and pulled her toward the backstage area. A woozy Vega was dragged all the way through the backstage area toward the exits. Estrella kicked open a door leading to the parking lot where a cab was waiting. The cabbie opened the back door and Estrella dumped Vega into it. The cabbie asked where she was going.
“Anywhere but here.” -Maria Estrella
Estrella watched as the cab took off with Vega inside.
RFW Grand Championship Match
Mark Blood vs. The Iconoclast (c)
The RFW Grand Championship’s recent history tells the story of two men with career-defining title runs. Mark Blood’s 2024 championship run was a grueling, weekly gauntlet of title defenses that saw him give to this business as much as it has given him over the years. For The Iconoclast, being a dominant champion throughout 2025 has made him one of the top stars in RFW with no signs of slowing down. The Iconoclast and Blood are no strangers to each other, having competed against each other for this championship three times prior.
Blood was looking to add to his legacy with another run as Grand Champion while The Iconoclast was trying to prove he is the true dominant champion of this era. The Iconoclast entered this match without his protege, Dezzy Nightshade, an advantage Blood has claimed is the reason he’s been champion this long.
The match began with a tense stare down before a tie up. The Iconoclast won out in the early going of this match that started slow and began escalating with power moves from both competitors. The Iconoclast stopped momentum from Blood with a massive clothesline that took the wind out of Blood on impact. The champion was off to a good start.
A big scoop slam from The Iconoclast was followed by a setup for a chokeslam power bomb but Blood escaped the attempt and fired back with some desperation fists. It worked and Blood found an opening to make his first solid offensive push in this match. Blood showed the finesse and veteran skills that got him through his epic 2024 title run and had the champion looking in real trouble.
Blood used his family’s signature Boston Crab which The Iconoclast escaped after a lengthy capture in the hold. Blood followed up by attempting a tombstone piledriver but The Iconoclast shifted his weight and pulled Blood forward into a pin attempt. Blood kicked out and quickly got to his feet but so did The Iconoclast who nailed Blood with another huge clothesline. The Iconoclast threw Blood into a corner and hit him with a rolling senton. With Blood in a weakened state, The Iconoclast used a chokeslam powerbomb and covered for a pin. Blood’s foot was able to reach a rope which broke the count, frustrating The Iconoclast and keeping this match alive.
Blood made a late match comeback that saw The Iconoclast in real trouble. Blood used the tombstone piledriver and quickly covered the champion but somehow The Iconoclast kicked out. Blood tried for another tombstone but it was one time too many because the champion avoided this third attempt went for a chokeslam power bomb and covered for a pin to win this match.
The Iconoclast stood victorious with the RFW Grand Champion held high. Any criticism anybody had about The Iconoclast’s title reign being possible because of Dezzy Nightshade was laid to rest. The Iconoclast’s championship reign continues into 2026.
Winner Take All: RFW World Champion vs. RFW Wildheart Champion
Alexandra Morgan w/Claudia Winter vs. Kassidy Fortune
Our main event had it all up for grabs. The winner would capture both the RFW World Championship and the RFW Wildheart Championship. Kassidy Fortune will be forever tied to the legacy of Wildheart Wrestling Club and the Wildheart holds great meaning for her. Alexandra Morgan, the current RFW Wildheart Champion, wants the world, and her conquest for the RFW World Championship led her here to this showdown.
Claudia Winter, like so many before, has led Morgan to gold and was at ringside to coach her to the biggest prize yet. Morgan and Fortune sized each other up before they began a contentious discussion that led Morgan to shove Fortune to the mat. Fortune looked amused before getting to her feet and shoving back. Morgan stumbled backward until she hit the ropes and then launched herself forward with a clothesline that Fortune ducked. Morgan turned around and got hit by a standing dropkick. Morgan was now the one who looked amused, laughing as she wiped a hand across her mouth, stood up, and locked up with Fortune. Morgan got the upper hand here and this started Morgan’s offensive buildup in the early minutes of this match.
Winter looked pleased on the outside as Morgan looked her absolute best here. The Wildheart Champion had absolute control over the World Champion and wore her down with holds leveraged by her strength. Fortune was clearly struggling to fight out of this and thought she had a moment where she broke free, ran the ropes and came firing with a flying forearm. Morgan caught Fortune in the air and brutally powerslammed her before going right back on offense.
Fortune was dropped with a falcon arrow and Morgan covered with a confident pin. Fortune kicked out which did not seem to surprise or bother Morgan who just grinned. Winter encouraged Morgan to keep on the attack and Morgan did so by throwing Fortune off the ropes for her spinning side slam finisher. Fortune calculated this move and surprised Morgan and everyone else in the arena with shining wizard! Fortune quickly covered Morgan to try and capitalize on the surprise but was dead lifted off and thrown to the side.
Fortune began making her first real offensive built as this match rolled on. Unable to beat Morgan on strength, Fortune instead brought a faster paced offense that was effective against the Wildheart Champion. Fortune tried for a few pin attempts but was unable to keep Morgan down. Winter was looking nervous out there, though, and started to verbally antagonize Fortune. It did not seem to be working, at first, but Fortune eventually, in one smooth motion, rolled out of the ring and clotheslined Winter. The crowd loved that but it cost Fortune as her return to the ring was met with a suddenly spinning side slam. Morgan covered but Fortune kicked out just before the three count.
Morgan showed a renewed, more desperate fire against Fortune, using slower, more hard-impacting slams. Fortune stood up on shaky legs and was pulled right back down into an absolutely sick crossface chicken wing submission made worse by Morgan wrapping her legs around Fortune’s waist. The World Champion was in trouble as Morgan pulled hard on her shoulder joint and she found herself with nowhere to go. Fortune had to inch her way to the ropes to break the submission.
Morgan continued her attack until Fortune surprised her with a cutter. The move proved to be a shock to her damaged shoulder, however, and she was unable to follow up with a pin. Despite the pain, Fortune started to get back into the fight, battling through her body’s cries of anguish. Adrenaline, and maybe desperation, helped Fortune make a strong comeback. Morgan kept coming back to that shoulder, stopping Fortune’s momentum.
Morgan tried for a shoulder breaker but Fortune slipped free, dropping behind her, and pushed the Wildheart Champion into the turnbuckle. Morgan stumbled out and turned around into another cutter. Fortune was again too pained to follow up quickly but dug in deep, pulled Morgan up with her good arm and used another cutter. Fortune covered, the referee counted to three, and she defeated Morgan to become the undisputed champion, carrying the RFW World Championship and, once again, the RFW Wildheart Championship.
Kassidy Fortune clutched both championship belts as she had her arm raised by the referee. Outside the ring, a tearful and devastated Alexandra Morgan fled from the ring with Claudia Winter by her side. Fortune walked around the ring to celebrate and close out our show, taking us into 2026 as double champion. Fortune held up both belts despite some lingering pain in that shoulder before making a move to walk out of the ring.
Then her music cut off.
Then, someone else’s music began playing. Fortune looked toward the arena entrance with confusion. The screen above the stage showed a purple crown that began to crack. Then the name faded in.
KAMI KING
Kami King, who was last seen in RFW at last year’s Final Round against Kassidy Fortune, stepped out to a surprised and excited crowd. Gone was her old, girl next door appearance, this was a Kami King that spent nearly a year on the independent scene hardening herself in extreme matches and clawing her way to every victory. King looked more mature, more intense, and walked to the ring to confront Fortune. Fortune looked at King with curiosity. As the two women stood across from each other, Fortune offered King a handshake. King stepped toward Fortune but instead of shaking her hand, merely tapped a finger on the RFW World Championship belt and then walked away.
Fortune stood in the ring and watched as King started to leave. King looked over her shoulder and gave Fortune a long stare that said a lot with no actual words, and continued walking out.
2026 is already shaping up to be a big year. We’ll be back in the spring. Until then, this has been Final Round 2025. Thank you, Rapid Fire Fanatics!
