RFW #115 Results

 Date: 10/25/2025

Location: RFW Arena in Atlanta, GA

Welcome back, Rapid Fire Fanatics! We wasted no time getting our fall season rolling last week and the momentum continues this week. I am Shawn Roberts, the voice of RFW, and I’ve got all the deets you need to know about this week’s show.

Welcome to Rapid Fire Wrestling!

Mikey Armstrong and Preston Montgomery vs. Chucky Arter and Eric Waves

We kicked off the show with tag team action as Mikey Armstrong and his pal Preston Montgomery took on a team that has made a strong showing since coming to RFW, Chucky Arter and Eric Waves.

This was a good, energetic, and competitive match that saw both teams showing off some of their best talents and was a fine example of what tag team wrestling means in RFW. Armstrong and Montgomery have been working together for a while now which has made them into an efficient, effective tag team. Take nothing away from Arter and Waves, though, because they’ve been together even longer and pushed Armstrong and Montgomery to the limit.

In the end, the veteran Armstrong used an exploder suplex on Waves and kept him down for the pin. Mikey Armstrong and Preston Montgomery picked up the victory here but no shame on Chucky Arter and Eric Waves for putting in a top notch effort here.

Backstage Brawls and Barred

The dust was barely setting in the ring from our opening match as things were getting rowdy backstage. Annika was seen arguing with Meghan DeWitt and Mia Mercury in a hallway. DeWitt tried to throw a forearm with her arm cast but Mercury held her back. Commissioner Aurora Starkey arrived and separated everyone.

“I won’t have this! Meghan, you aren’t cleared to wrestle and if you can’t keep yourself out of trouble then I am barring you from the RFW Arena until you are cleared! And as for you two, well, you’ve just solved a problem for me. I need a main event tonight and since you are so hot to mix it up then I think Annika vs. Mia Mercury is the solution for everybody. Agreed? Good.” -Aurora Starkey

The Commish! The problem solver! We’ve got ourselves a main event. As for Meghan DeWitt, I guess we’ll see her soon but it won’t be tonight.

Keira Ryan vs. Phueng Ahunai

RFW saw enough in Keira Ryan’s performances as a free agent that they locked her in to a contract and Phueng Ahunai saw enough in her to see a threat to her own rise up the ranks. Obviously, that was the perfect formula for a match!

This one went as you expected with two talented women locking up, testing each other, figuring things out. Ahunai used a rough forearm to the back of the neck of Ryan to get herself an advantage and wore down our newest star. A flipping neckbreaker by Ahunai was reversed into a vertical suplex giving Ryan a change to get back into this.

Ryan had a strong showing here and she came close to victory several times but Ahunai was stubborn and stayed in this match. Ryan went for a shoulder breaker but Ahunai slipped free and hit a flipping neck breaker out of desperation. She didn’t fully lock it in though so Ryan was able to kick out of a pin. Ahunai was getting frustrated and picked up Ryan by the hair before yelling at her. Ryan rolled Ahunai into a small package and picked up a pin here, winning the match and shocking Ahunai in the process!

Keira Ryan was the winner here and enjoyed the applause from the audience. Phueng Ahunai threw a bit of a tantrum outside the ring. She didn’t expect to lose this one but I think Ahunai will look at Ryan in a different light now.

In Hiding

Maria Estrella made it clear she has gold in her sights but wants to get revenge on Jessie Vega first. Estrella came to the ring and called out Vega but it was her record label rep, Lee Lee Hunt, who answered the call.

Hunt made it clear that Vega would not be appearing any time soon under such dangerous conditions. Hunt added that Vega was dealing with a back injury due to Estrella’s “violent and unhinged attack” on Vega at the Rapid Fire Festival.

Estrella grabbed Hunt by the collar and made sure she was listening, loud and clear.

“You, you little scrawny rat, are the reason Jessie turned on me. I don’t care if Jessie’s back hurts. I don’t care if she’s afraid to face me. I don’t care about anything anymore except getting my hands on her one last time so she can feel every bit of pain that I’ve felt. I am giving you one week to bring Jessie here in the RFW Arena to face me. If you don’t then it is you will feel every bit of that pain. Is she really worth that much to you?” -Maria Estrella

Hunt nervously fled the ring as Estrella watched her with more fire in her eyes than I’ve ever seen before. I really wouldn’t want to be Jessie Vega right now.

Ruslan Panov’s Favor

Things haven’t been great with Lords of Chaos lately but Ruslan Panov pulled Rex Anarchy aside to smooth things out and after making progress, Panov asked his partner for support in a personal matter.

“I need to ask you for a favor. I’ve have a good career and one to be proud of. I came here to be Grand Champion, though, and every day I feel myself getting further from that goal. I want to go for it and I’m asking for you to have my back. We take over the world together and what better way to get there than to hold the top title.” -Ruslan Panov

Anarchy considered Panov with his usual severe gaze but then softened up, agreed to help, and admitted that Panov would make a great champion. The two shook hands and began plotting.

Andre Jordan vs. Kenneth Cobb

I don’t exactly know what happened to Andre Jordan since his downward spiral earlier this year but he seems to have dusted himself off and revealed a layer of confidence tinged with pompous jackassness.

Jordan came down to the ring for a match against Kenneth Cobb but took over the show by rambling on and on about how he intended to conquer RFW once again, and soon. Eventually, Cobb had enough waiting backstage for Jordan to get off of his soapbox and rushed down to the ring to get this match going. Thank you, Kenneth Cobb. Bless you.

Cobb was in full control for much of the early going of the match but Jordan found his groove and made this a competitive affair. Cobb was closing in on a win here but Jordan feigned a distraction outside the ring causing the referee to look away just long enough for Jordan to kick Cobb with a low blow. From there, Jordan was able to use a belly-to-belly suplex and secure a win by pinfall.

Andre Jordan is the winner here while Kenneth Cobb was left frustrated watching our former RFW Grand Champion celebrating so proudly around the ring.

What’s Up With Lost Cause?

Backstage, we caught sight of Ridge approaching Lost Cause to ask about Rus Samson’s absence. Cool Spencer told Ridge that Samson wanted nothing to do with them anymore. Ridge felt Lost Cause needed each other and urged Spencer and Paisley Alden to patch things up with Samson.

The Four Elements arrived. These four are the reason Lost Cause are fractured and they sure don’t seem to care. Marcus and Tommy V. agreed that Samson was better off alone while Shannon Worth was grateful that they were able to dissolve, and I quote, “the most embarrassing team in the history of professional wrestling.”

Ridge stood up for Lost Cause and had no problem telling The Four Elements what he thought of them.

“I’ve been around this business for twenty five years and I’ve seen some nasty cancers over that time. You guys were black mark on NRWL years ago and you are doing it again here. Lost Cause is far better for pro wrestling than your four will ever be.” -Ridge

What did Ridge get for speaking his mind? He triggered a four on three beatdown from The Four Elements. Cool Spencer, Paisley Alden, and Ridge tried to fight but were left on the cold hard floor after a brutal attack.

Kassidy Fortune Responds to Yurei

Kimberly Kennedy was waiting in the ring to invite the RFW World Champion, Kassidy Fortune, to come to the ring and answer the challenge from Yurei. Kennedy recalled Yurei’s challenge and her attack on an RFW Wrestling School student in the process. Fortune addressed it all.

“Yeah, I did see Yurei’s challenge last week, Kimberly, and I won’t waste any time giving her and all of you the answer. Yes. Yes, of course I welcome the challenge from Yurei. If she wants a chance at taking this title from me then let her try and she’ll understand why I have earned my place as World Champion for nearly a year. Yurei is a world class fighter so I know she won’t be a pushover, but, you know, I’m not so impressed that she can beat up an untrained wrestler backstage. When she step into the ring with me it’ll be a whole different story. I can assure her of that.” -Kassidy Fortune

Yurei came out to meet the champion. She sized Fortune up and stared her down for a long, uncomfortable moment but simply telling Fortune that her days as champion were coming to an end. With that, Yurei then threw a checked kick, stopping her foot just inches from Fortune’s face. Fortune stood there unflinching and stared her challenger down. Yurei smiled and walked off while Fortune never took her eyes off her. This was a tense moment and suggests that their upcoming match will be an intense encounter.

Annika vs. Mia Mercury

Our main event, made earlier in the show, saw Annika stepping into the ring with Mia Mercury. Annika has become an intimidating force in RFW since her stint in the MMA world but Mercury is the first RFW Wildheart Champion and showed confidence as this match got underway.

Annika wisely tried to slow Mercury down early in this match, wisely focusing her attacks on Mercury’s knee, the same knee she injured back in the Wildheart Wrestling Club days. Seems Annika did her homework! Mercury broke through Annika’s offense but the strategy was effective because Mercury clearly lost a step as she revved up her own attacks.

Annika was able to keep slowing Mercury down as this match continued but when Mercury realized her normal toolset wasn’t going to work for this match, she shifted to a slower paced combination of mat wrestling mixed with some strikes. This was counter to what Annika expected and proved effective for Mercury. Annika made a late match comeback but while trying to pull Mercury down for an arm breaker Mercury shifted her weight, breaking the hold, and sending Annika chest-first into the turnbuckle. Mercury nailed her with an enziguri, climbed the turnbuckle, and dove into Annika with a flying elbow drop. Mercury covered for a pin, got the three count, and won this match.

Mia Mercury closed out our show as the winner and celebrated in the ring and with fans at ringside. Annika glared at Mercury from the aisle way, clutching her chest and gritting her teeth.

That’s going to do it for us. Check back next week for more action here on Rapid Fire Wrestling!
