It was a night of big matches with Cole Arcane and Rex Anarchy meeting in a Last Man Standing Match, Maria Estrella and Cate Stiles met in a MoW Championship number one contender’s match, Kassidy Fortune prepares for a new challenger, and much more.

Black and Blue Bruisers vs. The Door

The show began with MoW Team Champions, The Door, taking on free agent tag team the Black and Blue Bruisers, Wade Henson and Nasty Harley, in a non-title match.

The Bruisers were a good match for the champions and gave the fans a fun, hard hitting match to start the evening. The Door commanded much of the match, however, and walked away with a solid victory, continuing their dominance of the MoW tag team scene.

MoW Wildheart Championship Number One Contender's Match Announcement

MoW Commissioner Tiger Johnson came to the ring to announce a number one contender's match for the MoW Wildheart Championship would be held at the next show. Johnson welcomed the challengers, Aurora Starkey, Tracy Blood, Mysterie, Mia Mercury, Chez Everett, and Meghan DeWitt, to join in him in the ring.

Johnson began to address the women but was interrupted by MoW Wildheart Champion Kassidy Fortune. Fortune had words for her potential challengers.

"I see some of the best wrestlers in MoW today in that ring. You know what I don't see? Someone who is better at this than Kassidy Fortune. The winner faces me at Final Round. Come 2024, I will still be Wildheart Champion." -Kassidy Fortune

Starkey spoke up and accused Fortune of becoming too full of herself. DeWitt warned Fortune not to underestimate her but Everett criticized DeWitt. Mercury backed up her old friend DeWitt but Mysterie suggest Mercury worry about herself. Blood remarked that they all sounded like bickering children before Everett struck her, causing a brawl to break out between all of the contenders while Fortune watched with amusement from the aisle.

Lost Cause or Championship Bound?

Lost Cause sat backstage in a haze of smoke watching the in-ring brawl on a monitor. Alexandra Morgan said it would be cool if they were all champions. Paisley Alden called Morgan the next MoW Champion and wished she herself was in contention for the MoW Wildheart Championship.

Cool Spencer made an observation.

“That’s great for you two but there’s only one MoW Championship for the men so Rus and I can’t be champions together. What a buzzkill.” -Cool Spencer

Alden comforted her boyfriend and suggested he and Rus Samson team up and compete for the MoW Team Championship. Samson pretended his head exploded before he and Spencer got excited about the possibilities of teaming up.

A Chance for Payback

Pierre Laurent was seen backstage complaining to Claudia Winter about Preston Montgomery causing him to lose his match last week. Winter looked annoyed but settled Laurent down with good news.

"Preston continues to be a problem for us and I set you up to be the solution. You have a match next week against our former colleague. I need you to win that match but if you were to extract a little extra revenge and humiliation in the process, you would make me very happy Pierre." -Claudia Winter

Laurent was pleased with Winter's plan and assured her he would not let her down.

Number One Contender's Match

Cate Stiles vs. Maria Estrella

Two of the biggest names in MoW collided in a high stakes number one contender’s match for the MoW Championship. Cate Stiles came to the ring and watched as her opponent, Maria Estrella, came to the ring with a guest. Jessie Vegas joined her partner for ringside support and looked enthusiastic to be back. Estrella grabbed a microphone and addressed Vega’s return.

“We promised we would both be back! Ladies and gentleman, welcome back MoW’s resident rock star and the hottest woman you’ll find anywhere, Jessie Vega!” -Maria Estrella

Stiles was not impressed and shared a mutual look of dislike with Vega as the two have bad history going back to 2015.

Estrella got the advantage on Stiles early in the match but Stiles refused to stay down long and answered with her own offense. The match was even paced while Vega cheered on Estrella from the outside. Stiles was kicked through the ropes to the outside near Vega. Stiles and Vega had words before Stiles belted Vega in the mouth bringing Estrella to the outside.

Estrella and Stiles slugged it out on the outside before Stiles was driven into the ring steps. Back in the ring, Estrella drove Stiles to the mat with powerful slams. Stiles was in trouble but managed to pull off a late match breakthrough of offense. Estrella got caught in a flapjack before Stiles forced her into submission with an ankle lock.

Cate Stiles was declared the victor but had little time to celebrate. MoW Champion Shannon Worth slid into the ring, hit Stiles from behind with the championship belt, and vicious attacked her. Jessie Vega helped Maria Estrella to her feet and both watched Worth’s attack on Stiles before opting to leave the number one contender stranded.

A Deal is a Deal

Lucia Mendez has had a difficult time adjusting to work in Paul Priest’s nightclub and Priest’s right hand girl, Delilah, pulled Mendez aside after one of her dance routines for the clientele.

Delilah offered to talk to Priest and have the arrangement ended but Mendez had a surprising response.

“I am ashamed, heartbroken, and at the lowest point of my life. I agreed to this deal. I will continue to keep my word.” -Lucia Mendez

Priest walked into the room and yelled at Delilah to get out on the stage causing Delilah to retreat. Priest turned his attention to Mendez and expressed his pleasure of having her on his team. Mendez tried to find words to respond but walked away instead.

Apology?

Kimberly Kennedy stood backstage with Killer Malone and asked him about his run with the MoW Championship and what was next for him.

Malone’s plans were simple.

“I don’t care if it’s Dr. Insidious or someone else. I fear no man. What’s next for me is regaining the MoW Championship and getting back on top of the mountain.” -Killer Malone

Mikey Armstrong interrupted the former champion and asked Malone for an apology for punching him at last week’s show and re-injuring his face. Malone was surprised by Armstrong’s request and walked off in disgust. Armstrong followed behind and called out to Malone.

Snarl Wants His Answer

Snarl made a surprise return at the MoW 30th Anniversary show to confront the man who took him out last year, MoW Champion Dr. Insidious. Snarl showed up at last week’s show to issue a challenge to the champion and came back looking for an answer. Dr. Insidious did answer the call, but someone else did.

Dezzy Nightshade made her surprise return to MoW and came to the ring to confront Snarl. Nightshade had a message for the MoW legend.

“I speak for Dr. Insidious. You, Snarl, may be an icon in this ring but you don’t get to call your shots. Dr. Insidious decides the fate of the MoW Championship and Dr. Insidious says no to your challenge.” -Dezzy Nightshade

Snarl insisted but Nightshade held her ground. Snarl stepped toward Nightshade before the lights went off. Sounds of a commotion were heard in the darkened ring and when the lights came back on, Snarl was down on the mat surrounded by Nightshade and a new face. The Iconoclast, last seen in HAW, stood over Snarl. Nightshade and The Iconoclast left Snarl in the ring.

Last Man Standing Match

Cole Arcane vs. Rex Anarchy

The main event featured longtime rivals, Cole Arcane and Rex Anarchy, going to war in a Last Man Standing match. Though the rules of the match suggested the action would take place away from the ring, the first minutes of the match was a brawl between the ropes.

Anarchy clotheslined Arcane over the ropes and climbed out to deliver more punishment, including a body slam to the concrete. Arcane turned things around with a headbutt and proceeded to drag Anarchy up the aisle. Anarchy fought back but found himself back body dropped into the audience where the fight continued.

The bitter enemies traded fists through the crowd and into the concession area where Anarchy tried to choke Arcane by shoving a hot dog down his throat. Arcane smashed hot pizza into Anarchy’s face, scalding him. Arcane tried to pin Anarchy after a DDT on the floor but Anarchy somehow kicked out and kept fighting.

Arcane dragged Anarchy toward the bathrooms and threw him on the floor.

“It’s time for me to do what should have been done years ago. I’m flushing you down the toilet like the piece of shit you are!” -Cole Arcane

Arcane kicked in a toilet stall and turned to pick up Anarchy but was speared into the stall, landing on the toilet. Anarchy blasted Arcane with a boot to the face before pushing his head into the toilet water.

The fight continued in the bathroom until Arcane drove Anarchy into a mirror, shattering it. Arcane used a running bulldog on Anarchy onto the broken glass and covered him for a pin, securing victory.

Cole Arcane huffed on his way back to the ring where he stood with his arms raised in celebration. Arcane was about to step out of the ring when Rex Anarchy re-emerged in the aisle.

“You won the match, but, you are not the last man standing. I’m still standing!” -Rex Anarchy

Arcane raced out of the ring and continue fighting with Anarchy. The two brawled to end the show, their issues still unresolved.
